This young green jackfruit “confit,” is tasty and soft, and was inspired by classic French cuisine.

Use as a tuna substitute for wraps and sandwiches or pan-fry on medium heat until golden brown, and serve with your favourite sauce and salad.

Jackfruit is a healthy tropical fruit rich in resistant starch and has a meat-like, pulled-pork texture with a subtle flavour, lending itself to be seasoned easily to serve as a vegan meat alternative. Made from cut and confited raw Jackfruit, these chunks of plant-based goodness are great alternatives to meat and seafood. Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Vegan, Soy-free, and Egg-free, it does not trigger an inflammatory response within the body. No sweeteners, No preservatives, No added sugar.

Uses

Vegan substitute for meat or seafood recipes. Use as a vegan meat substitute in wraps, sandwiches, tacos, pizza, pasta, and pies or pan-fry (with the oil in the can) on medium heat until golden brown, and serve with your favourite sauce and salad.

Storage

Keep in the pantry, away from sunlight and damp. Refrigerate and use within 5 days of opening.
