Easy Preparation in Six Simple Steps
- Rehydrate the Mix: Pour 1 packet of Vegan Mexican Flavoured Mince Mix into a bowl with 1 cup (250ml) of water. Mix well and let stand for 20-30 minutes to fully rehydrate.
- Preheat & Sauté: Pre-heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of oil into the pan. Add the hydrated Mexican Mince Mixture and sauté for 3 minutes.
- Add Water & Kidney Beans: Add ½ cup of water and ½ can of drained red kidney beans. Stir well and then let it simmer for 5-8 minutes.
- Stir & Thicken: Stir the mixture every 2-3 minutes while simmering, until the mixture is thickened without runny liquid.
